CIT Program
Our CIT program is for campers entering 9th and 10th grade. The CITs arrive at camp each morning and much of their day is spent assisting with a group of children under the supervision of a Group Leader and other staff with the expectation that they will continue in the pursuit of working with children. During the course of the day the CIT may be assigned to specific areas of the camp, such as the towel room, the office, etc. This gives them an understanding of how our camp operates. The CITs eat lunch together as a group and they enjoy going on trips, once each week, which may include, Adventureland, Splish Splash, and several other similar trips throughout the summer.
Many of our CITs have gone on to become Junior Counselors, Counselors and eventually Group Leaders at Brookhaven Country Day Camp.
